Kristiansund Airport, Kvernberget, is located just minutes from the town centre and offers easy access to the festival. If you are travelling from elsewhere in Norway or abroad, connecting through Oslo is often the simplest route. For many visitors, the arrival itself becomes part of the mood: the coastline, the islands, the shifting weather, and the light that has helped make this region so unforgettable.

You can also reach Kristiansund by car or bus, or a combination of train and bus. For those who wish to combine the festival with a wider journey through Fjord Norway, the route itself offers spectacular scenery.
